I really had to do these outfits justice and break up the post because that other one was getting long and bogged down so forgive me for making this multiple parts! I am always th person that would prefer a 10 min video versus (6) 3 min videos lol but i recognize my audience may not be like that!
Then we had The first show of the actual tour THE WORLD TOUR. April was special for me, it was about reclaiming the space and not letting people steal my joy. It was my first step to be fearless after I was brutally attacked. Whew that was dark and thank you for reading that, let’s get back to the fashion. I wanted to do this angel/devil look for LA but the weather changed and Vancouver was going to be cold so I swapped my disco look for April and decided to do the angel bit of my LA look which was Marilyn Monroe. His song Technicolor references a Marilyn Monroe but the modern day and that’s what I wanted to embody 🙂↔️
Marilyn’s epic red lip was the star of this fit and I wanted the long velvet gloves and the blonde short hair. I then added this white sequin number because I’m modern day Marilyn baby! Finished this look with sparkly pink heart sunglasses because after my assault my eyes were still recovering and the lights were a bit much for my concussion.
Then came May LA night 1. I wanted to the devil this night because my heart was dark. I felt dark. I felt unlike myself. It was a weird energy and it also was like a coping mechanism or armor for myself. I was so guarded. The internet is so unkind and a lot of the words said got to me big time. This look was the catalyst to getting back to myself.
Night 2 LA, after really being a big bad devil the night before I woke up the next day with such joy. It’s strange but this look was absolutely perfect to get me back to me. It was everything I love. Big, Bold, and SPARKLY. The hair reminded me of my aunties in the 80’s and I was so hear for it.
Next up Tulsa!! I’m born and raised in Oklahoma. I lived in Tulsa for 10 years. I always have to see him here
This flame design came about based on his song Flame. This song is so damn cool. I love the tempo and how it’s produced. I also love knowing Justin just went in the booth after hearing this beat and saying remember member when you said you love me til I die yah and it’s such an organic song. Shoutout Rob Knox for telling us about the behind the scenes! Back to the fit. I never feel more powerful than when I have braids so I loved that I had them for this look and the Bantu knots. You caint tell me I wasn’t THAT BITCH
Next up this one was actually NOT supposed to happen but Justin got arrested and my friends convinced me to come see him in Boston and I said well if I’m going to Boston I might as well go to NYC and celebrate my friends BDAY with her! Honestly so happy for that detour because I got to see some of the BEST people and have the best time. Omgoodness I just get choked up thinking about that trip!
Okay outfit for MSG Night 2 June 2024
He has a song called Play that mentions Bougie Rosé so that was the inspo for this night. High pony to simulate a bottle of rosé being corked open. I really think I ate that!!
Next up was Boston night 1, shoutout to my friend Jovan for the free ticket you’re the best girl!! I went 70’s chic with this look. Very simple very demure very mindful
I had plans to wear a scarf but it kept slipping. Annoying. So I just went without. The mustard long sleeve dress had the back out and I loved that sexy little detail
Boston night 2 I did a disco ball dress as o refer to it. Also long sleeved because Boston was quite chilly for July! I did the most DIVA eye makeup I could think of and I seriously LOVED it. I need to do this again for my Halloween show with gold 🙂↔️
