I had the pleasure of sitting down with Kenyon Dixon to ask him some questions from his Kenfolk about the album Closer
DeJa: Celebrating 4 years of Closer who would you have on a remix today?
Kenyon: I think Kehlani would be a great addition to Love on Replay feat Tiffany Gouché
DeJa: If Closer (Kenyon’s studio album released in 2022) was a date, what date would it be?
Kenyon: This isn’t relative to the album but I released this album on Cinco de Mayo May 5th, so I would say the 5th date.
DeJa: Yes because you want her “Here”
Kenyon: Yes I want them Closer
DeJa: What is a nonnegotiable boundary for you?
Kenyon: Consideration I need reciprocation. If I’m considering you and you can’t give me the same in a way that makes sense it a hard no for me
DeJa: I love that
DeJa: Do you have a therapist? Why or why not
Kenyon: Yes I do have a therapist
DeJa: Amazing, we love men in therapy!
Kenyon: I think it’s important! You don’t have to figure out the challenging things alone
